Christians Abroad Insurance Services provide bespoke travel insurance policies for Christian groups and individuals travelling abroad to undertake Christian work. We have a simply 'Quote & Buy' link on our website for FCDO Green listed countries. We can also request a general endorsement for war and terror from our partner insurance company for countries not FCDO Green listed. Policies can be up to 365 days before renewal.

Christians Abroad can also request bespoke medical insurance.

Christians Abroad acts as an agent for volunteers who are working in countries approved by the HMRC as 'developing coutries' as part of the Voluntary Development Worker National Insurance (VDW) provision. This programme remains open although there was some initial uncertainty about its future. If you need information about National Insurance contributions whilst overseas, please contact them.

WEC International's Cornerstone College located in Beugen, Netherlands, trains you to communicate the gospel cross culturally. Besides the general biblical and theology studies, our emphasis is on missiological subjects, intercultural communication and preparation to live and work in another culture. Living in the international and intercultural community of the college is part of the training.

This roadshow focusing on opportunities in mission visits various College Christian Union meetings throughout the UK during the college year. The Roadshow often comprises of a missions speaker, interviews with short- and long-term missionaries, a presentation, advisors, books, free literature and information. Christian Medical Fellowship run an annual residential course for health professionals, covering all aspects of medicine in developing countries. The course runs for two weeks but some participants attend selected parts of the course which are relevant to their needs. Usually in June/July.

EnVision is 4-session group study resource created by All Nations Christian College. Designed for churches, and other Christian organisations, it uses video, discussion, online materials, personal reflection and optional activities to help people understand more about God’s mission.

OSCAR has set up a fund to provide small bursaries for TCK’s requiring counselling or transition assistance. It is generally for those who have limited access to this kind of support (i.e. not provided by their organisation) and very limited financial resources. This is an unhurried, confidential time with an experienced therapist in which to reflect on the overseas experience, including work, relationships, and issues faced. It is both structured and client-focused and aims to strengthen psychological wellbeing. Normally, no report is sent to the agency unless requested by the client. Takes 90 minutes but can be extended if there are specific needs. A 45 min review is available for children.

Debriefing is a space to tell your story and process recent events to make sense of them and come to terms with their impact on you. It provides space to reflect on past experience and glean wisdom for the future. This is especially helpful for people who have been through a recent transition or significant event. We offer
2-3 hours a day of debriefing, counselling or coaching over 1-2 weeks residential in England's beautiful South West (near Exeter).
